Walk-on AESTUVER D+2 fire-resistant boards used as covering for concrete troughs alongside track bedding for safe escape- and rescue-route surfacing. The walk-on AESTUVER D+2 fire-resistant board has been specifically developed for covering both concrete troughs or for the safe surfacing of escape and rescue routes along track bedding.
The glass-fiber reinforced lightweight concrete makes the board a light-weight element for easy and quick installation and inspection and can be easily cut to size as required on site. For specific applications, AESTUVER D+2 fire-resistant boards can come with an anti-slip or afterglow finish.
Aestuver’s D+2 Panels for Fire Safety
Aestuver’s D+2 panels have been incorporated around the world, as an effective part of railway safety. The panels were specially designed for the escape and rescue routes in tunnels. These light-weight pavers can be secured into place and come in two sizes. They are non-combustible with high compressive and tensile strength. The surfaces are abrasion, water and frost resistant and are easy to clean and apply.
The panels come in two thicknesses 2.06” (52.5mm) and 1.67” (42.5mm) and are 49” x 24.6” (1,250x625mm). Panels are secured into place and are easy install. The panels can be painted and are available in an anti-slip finish. The escape and access routes are essential for track maintenance and human life protection.
